Haitian Clinic

Where’s the Ship?

In partnership with Haitian pastor Rodne Romeus, AMG has opened a new medical clinic in Grand Bassin, Haiti. After months of prayer, sweat, and sacrificial giving, the building was recently completed and dedicated. A nurse, pharmacist, and lab technician are giving tender, loving, Christian medical care seeing to the extremely poor residents of Grand Bassin. Along with that care, patients also receive encouragement from God’s Word, and an explanation of God’s plan of salvation. Two patients recently trusted Christ as their Savior at the clinic.

So the Bethesda Medical Clinic is up and running, but just bare-ly. Funds have been exhausted just getting the building open. National Worker sponsorships are helping with the staff salaries. But equipment is needed! Beds, stethoscopes, BP cuffs, cabinets, a wheel chair, a refrigerator (for drugs) otoscopes, a microscope, a centrifuge, an autoclave, and lots more. Thanks to our good friends at Equipping The Saints ministry, most of this equipment is available and “ready to go” to Haiti.

What’s holding us back? MONEY for shipping. Another ministry has agreed to share a shipping container, so the shipping cost to AMG is only HALF. But it’s still $3,000 - that we do not have.

So… we have a shipping container full of supplies. Can you help us “hire the ship” and become a part of this vital ministry to some desperately poor people in Haiti?
